My Final Hrs......

~~ddrrruuut, dddrrruuuttt~~
~~ddrruuutttt~~~~~~~~~~~~
"who call hse fone.... so early...."??(actually dunno wats the time, but its early if i'm still sleepy....)
Reluctantly picked up the fone....
Me:"arlo......."
HongChang:"so 2day wat time??"
Me:"oh... (few secs of brain lag), anything, but not too late, coz wanna pack bag, n collect stuff."
blahblahblahblahblah

eergghh~ kena woken up by fone call again.. 2nd time this wk... & so within few mins, i confirmed my lunch appt with 2secsch frnds. breakfast was soya beancurd, n the soya bean drink. Nice~~~ Wun get to have that for at least 9mths? oh man.....

Dawned upon me that time is running out for me...... haven even started on a single item yet.... yet i'm still running around s'pore meeting frnds.... SLACKER!!! WHERE ARE UR PRIORITIES!!(eehhh..... think my priorities are frnds, not my trip back? haha)
Mom said she's gonna whip up a nice meal.. I think its gonna b quite nice, since its my last dinner?? & also coz we gotta finish up the remaining canned abalone from last time.
Pardon my vocab.... frnds have hinted that i've been sounding like i'm gonna die.... coz i'm been peppering my conversation these days with phrases like,

"My days are numbered(in chinese)"
"I'm gonna be gone very soon"
"Time is running out for me"

I'm not cursing myself k.... somehow i found the phrases quite apt(tho rather cliche)... perhaps they're a subconscious reflection of my feelings? sighs... really reluctant to leave.... Perth.... hmmm... juz listen to that name...... Perth... bloody boring!!!! If u think S'pore is boring, wait till u come to Perth! It'll make S'pore look as exciting & happening as Japan! the movies are always slower to screen. The shops there close b4 5pm.... The onli thing u can really do at nite is either go clubbing at Northbrigde where the music sucks & the AngMoh's nv grow up, or stay home watch TV n go online(n i suspect most of the time its porn man!!). & my frnds have the cheek to ask me y I seem to be chatting on msn/icq everynite..... but at least it has made me appreciated home, & understanding many of S'pore's shortcomings.... this is home after all...

When i reached orchard, went with Hongchang to SIA's office at Paragon. Their counter girl was dressed in the SIA kerbaya.... even a counter gir leh.... makes me wonder how she got the job?? Imagine this.......,

A determined young lady, so motivated to fulfill her dreams of flying the skies, that she goes thru the entire air stewardess training, enduring all the gruelling shit.
On the final day, she passes the course & goes out celebrating & partying with her friends all nite long, giving every1 treats as she's gonna b that prestigious Singapore Girl.
She' so happy that she's finally graduated from the course, n awaits her letter of appointment. Filled with visions of a better future in that tight figure hugging kerbaya, she tears the letter open n it reads,

~~Congratulations, as a newly trained & fully qualified SIA air-stewardess,
you will have the privilege to fly with the hundreds of thousands in this company. All personnel have been carefully chosen & allocated to an assignment that they're best suited for. We're glad to inform you that your unique abilities have earned you a place at SIA's main office at Paragon. Kindly report to the manager there to collect your tailor-made SIA kerbaya. You shall begin work ASAP at the reception counter. You are from this day forth, a proud SIA receptionist!~~~

She was all smiles those every single person in queue.... & she told me that even tho my ticket entitled me to 20kg allowance, I would get 30kg if i produce my student card during check-in.... (wu ngia bo.....) scarly i'm the 1st victim in her sadistic plot to ruin SIA..... waddahell... doesnt matter la... no time....

anyway, had lunch at Paragon's Sushi Tei. haha, this calls for another food review! i'll do it when i'm in aus?? 8^)
did more catching up with kokwee than hongchang, coz i haven seen kokwee since i came back.... kinda felt that i'm rather old.. n that time really does whizz past u.....seemed not-so-long-ago that we were all still enjoying our time in secsch.(or at least i did, since i din do much expect sleep n play in sch...) Now even our teachers have kids who are in sch.... sighs.... very soon i'll be outta uni.... sighs... my lost youth.....

late afternoon met up to collect fotos from steph... the seeing the fotos juz made me miss s'pore more.... the time the whole grp ended up at esplanade... taking a leisure stroll, taking fotos like no1's business.... made me feel lucky to have known such frnds too.

dinner was rather nice, mom made this soup thing with the abalone in it. & i think it muz have smell heavenly, coz something damn funny n freakish happened. When about half of the stuff in the soup was in my tummy, "splash~~~" n then there was..... there was... no la, not light, but a FLY!!! wadda #@#%@$! It's supposed 2b my last dinner at home & in S'pore! u freaking fly had to chose this bowl of soup do wash urself with!?? go find some puddle of piss at the upgrading site or something!! but i couldnt help laughing~~! my mom was totally shocked n cursed "stupid fly"....

haha, i actually wanted to juz pick up the fly with my chopsticks n carry on eating the abalone & meatballs. haha!! My mind was recalling this rule a frnd mentioned. Its some 3 or 6 secs rule, whereby u can still consume food that's dropped on the floor if u pick it up n eat it within 3/6 secs. hahaha! n mom pour the soup away washed the stuff with water n served it with a more soup.... does it really help if it was contaminated with germs?? pls lor! will still die lor!

I actually managed to pack my bags in less than a day, not bad not bad~~ this will juz encourage me to continue with my complacent attitude in packing, haha!! but as long as it works, who cares rite!? Besides this, something else actually makes me feel rather proud. I managed to teach my mom how to set up a hotmail acct. My parents noe how to use email at work, but they juz dun have a personal acct. I even taught my momhow to chat using MSN! HAPPENING rite!!? can u imagine ur own mother chatting on MSN ornot!?? wahahahaha!!!! a mother who has a 20++yr old son, using all sorts of emoticons to chat!! POWER~~~!!! & my dad seemed interested to learn too!!
actually, all i wish for is that she can remember wat i taught.... always say things & she nv pay attention.... then later turn around n accuse me of not opening my mouth.... piangz! my dad oso..... parents.... sighs....

oh well, wun b blogging for a few days until I get net access for my place in perth... hopefully i rem the food review on Straits Cafe & Sushi Tei~~~ bye for now~~~ 8^)
