Interesting Day in Orchard~
Feeling refreshed now after taking a shower~~~ wah.... i realised wat david was toking about last semester about wax... he had a haircut n the stylist recommended he use wax, after 1 day, he was grumbling about how horrible it was! haha, so true! seems to stay in ur hair 4eva, no matter how u wash~~ piangz~~~
2day saw one of the most happening thing any1 can ever see in SINGAPORE!! I saw a gay couple holding hands! n its not those Bangalas who holds hands to express their brotherly love man~~ Its this pair of chinese who looked like they're in their late 30s. This is S'PORE leh!!
Was one of the guy blind?? NO!
Was one of the guy in someway physically handicapped?? NO!!
They were definitely a couple. The taller guy was normal, but the shorter 1 was slightly more effeminate.
& the way they looked at & talked to each other.
GOOD FOR THEM!! I nv expected to see such a thing here in S'pore. u noe how most pple are when it comes to homosexuality. GOT GUTS!! Come on la, if lesbians can hold hands openly, then wats wrong with gay couple holding hands!??
I'm not encouraging more guys to turn gay or anything. If its a phase, then so be it. If its not a phase then so be it. I mean its not my life rite?? Every1 has their right to lead a life they want. & to hell with all the crap about gays being bad influence on society, child molestors, Aids carriers etcetc! pls lor, even hetreosexuals are like dat! hmm... haha, before i get carried away, the pt is that i feel every1 shd juz b more open n less judgemental about everything...
I'm not a gay trying 2 promote homosexuality or gay activism, juz some1 who thinks that the world would b much better if we dun feel lame unjustified reasons to hate other pple.
Oh well, back to the rest of my day... went to cineleisure to meet serene n gang.... sighs, as expected, not very positive response to my hair~~~ Serene's face cringed in disgust(not alot la... juz a little)...... June still found it ok. & the 2 being the nice pple they, threw consoling comments like,
"need to get used to it dats all"
"still acceptable, tho abit bright"
Aiya, dun need to console 1 la.... I already noe it sucks!!! no need to protect me from the truth.
When Jerline came, i was already expecting her to criticise every inch of it. She's a very frank person wat.... haha, but think she could sense i was quite xianz about it, so she onli gave a few short comments.
Spent the whole afternoon shopping for clothes~~~ i stopped in my footsteps n went into Fourskins with the intent of browsing onli... but guess wat, i found a great Tshirt!! Ok, wasnt that great, but it prob caught my eye coz of its link to my childhood~~~
Any1 heard of ALF??? haha, it was this 80s American sitcom about this brown furry alien named Alf, who had a long Tapir-liked nose/mouth, & speak perfect english! haha! Those who grew up watching S'pore TV in the 80s would noe!
The shirt had Alf with a halo printed in front, & the backprint "Alf dun kill another Alf"(or somewhere along that line). haha, kinda like an Ape Tshirt imitation! The price was onli $20! cheapcheap! buy man!
& i saw a rather nice pair of berms... but after trying out 2sizes, they say not nice..... sighs... dun buy lor....
On our way to Far East, we decided to buy ice-cream from this uncle at the road junction outside Paragon. wahahaha! Wat a right choice! This uncle was so queer!
Us:"uncle, i wan raspberry in a cup, 2"
Uncle:" u wan raspberry in a cup(in some weird non-s'pore accent), in a cup... in a cup...."
Us:"???????? uncle 2 hor..."
Uncle:"2? 2 cup 2 cup...."
June:"how much huh?"
Uncle:"100cents~~"
Us:"huh??? oorrhh... 'hahaha'(lame laughter)"
June:"i see"
(june pays, n collect her stuff)
Uncle:"I see, U see, OCBC. U see I see. OCBC"
(we were all so trying to control our laughter!!)
Me:"uncle, i wan chocolate with bread."
Uncle:" chocolate with bread. manpower manpower."
Serene:"uncle, gimme chocolate chip with biscuit"
Uncle:"with B C kit, B C kit"
Wahlau!! weird man!! haha, but he made my day! so funny!! so lame!!
"I see U see OCBC" wahhahahaha! He was speaking with such a weird accent, prob think we were some tourist or something!
Anyway, while shopping at Far East, i realised how the consumer market is so very much catered for girls..... alot of tee shirts with great interesting designs are made with girls cutting... Maybe juz my taste lousy or wat la.... but i found the Killer Bear series Tshirts very interesting~~~
Except for this corner shop at the 3rd lvl, where they had tee shirts for guys. haha, n the sales assistant oso kinda attracted my attention. When i bought something therelast wk, found her quite cute ar~~ haha, but the pt is, that she was doing this cross-stitch. It had this boy n gir kissing each other. Naturally doing it for boyfriend rite?? oh man!
STOP ur totS!!! U muz b thinking that I'm whining about the gir having a bf rite?? Ur wrong!!! My mind actually flashed images of my ex..... sighs.... she kinda did something similar for me before..... This gir muz b a very loving gf, doing this while working. Hmm... which makes her a rather distracted sales assistant?? haha, she's probably mentally complaining about the no. of pple who keep coming into the shop!
hhmmm.. actually wanna discuss about some1 with a rather lousy character.... but think its not very convenient since it would drag my other frnd into this matter.... so lets 4get about it.... haha, lets juz say the God isnt fair. There are actually pple who have nothing at all. No looks, bad personality, bad mannerisms etcetc.... hhhmmm.. I'm not dat fantastic myself either..... hhhmmm... kk, so better not put this person out here for public comment.
