Read all about it!
Ok, finally an entry... Ages and eons since I last did this...
Really just lazy la... Blogging is definitely requires a little discipline...
Some updates on whats going on:
- I'm finally a graduate now! haha, managed to survive without any failed units... The results are aren't the kind that makes people go "wah! so good". It probably would get a reaction like "oh, ok... hmm.. OH, so the weather's really fine today ar?"
- 1st week of winter hols spent at OCF Winter Camp. Helped in the committee. Was pretty alrite, but all the time doing stuff, running around. Was good since the com was really good. Camp site was beautiful.
- I went for a short holiday in Sydney(4days) and Melbourne(10days) for 2weeks, 8-21 July. Spent alot, mostly on food. Din manage to buy much.. coz the girls were doing most of the shopping. But did buy some stuff in Syd, 2Mooks n a decent looking Mambo for $15. Skiing was fun, but freaking cold.
- I've put on weight.... All thanks to the rich and sinful food in Syd n Melb. Is there a Koko Black's in Sg?? A friend said there might be, but I can't recall..
- Initial post-graduation plans was to be a full time bummer till September. But that has changed. Gonna apply for PR in Aus. so wun be back in Sg that soon.
- Thought I'd bum till I get my PR. But fortunately, got a job. Was actually considering of not taking it, but really needed income. Part timing at a small firm doing accounting and tax, no audit whatsoever. They'll offer full time once PR application confirmed, and prob depending on my performance as well.
Full time pay, 29k... Not much, but will do for now.
- Homeless at the moment. Bunking in a friend's place. Didn't stay on at my previous 1 coz I wasn't sure if I would even stay on till end of the year.
- Might shift back to my old place. Simplifying a complicated story :
New tenant shifts in, unhappy with what he initially saw and agreed to.
Acts like a spoilt kid, refuse to share phone bill and furnishing costs.
Wants to shift out, doesnt bother finding a replacement tenant, yet expects the room to be his till he finds a place.
- Job.... lotsa stuff to learn... but kinda dry... This is after all accounting and tax... What's the most exciting thing that can happen?? "OH NO! The Balance Sheet isn't balanced!"... "HELP! The client can't get his $100 reduction!"..
- The people at work are really nice tho. I haven't exactly warmed up to them yet... I'm kinda slow at that.. A note, juz for cheap thrill.. I'm the youngest in the firm, but that's quite alrite since it has a staffing of under 10.
- Still figuring out what I wanna do... How I'm gonna earn my living...
- Still clueless about who I am, how well do I know myself...
- Still trying to see if I'm alrite the way I am now... hmmm...
- This ain't a promise, but I'll try to post fotos, 8^). Not easy as I don't have my own digicam. People, its time to get me one for my birthday. haha.
